Don Audia brings an extensive & broad understanding of application engineering skills. Starting out in the industry selling sanitary processing equipment components i.e. sanitary pumps, valves, thermal process systems, fillers, conveyors, instrumentation along with automation & controls provided a broad understanding of how components interact with each other & come together as a functioning processing system! Don has a long history of working closely with equipment manufacturers and system integrators.
After a decade of selling sanitary equipment & system components, Don started Carmel Process Solutions in 2006. Customers came to him asking him to provide a thermal process solution for a sous vide application. He developed & designed a modular cook/chill system for the food industry and received a Patent Pending from the U. S. Patent & Trademarks Office, for an automated "pick n place" cook/chill system. These production lines continue to produce millions of pounds of beans & various proteins per year.
Now after 25+ years in the food industry, Don continues to offer his considerable knowledge in batch & continuous food processing operations experience as an industry consultant. Working with customers who wish to scale up from small pilot plant type operations to fully automated food production lines.
